Meet Missy
Founder of Wired 4 Reading
Missy is the founder of Wired 4 Reading and a passionate educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. As a former struggling reader herself, she understands the challenges many children face—and firmly believes that with the right instruction, every child can learn to read. Missy is LETRS-trained and brings a strong foundation in the Science of Reading to her work. Her expertise is grounded in decades of classroom experience and a deep commitment to ongoing professional growth, including extensive training through workshops, professional organizations, universal screener courses, and continual self-study.
After implementing Science of Reading-based practices in her classroom, Missy saw a dramatic difference in student success. Now, through Wired 4 Reading, she offers the same structured, evidence-based approach to help struggling and early readers build strong foundational skills—and lasting confidence.
